Why he might be annoying:

He had a late start as a boxer, taking up the sport at age 20.
He was arrested and charged with domestic battery after reportedly choking a woman in his Las Vegas hotel room (May 4, 2013).
He made death threats against several opponents and boasted that boxing 'is the only sport where you can kill a man and get paid for it at the same time.'
After losing the title to Tyson Fury (February 22, 2020), he offered up a litany of excuses, ranging from alleging that his water had been spiked with a muscle relaxant to complaining that his ring-walk costume 'was way too heavy... it weighed 40 pounds with the helmet and all the batteries.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He is renowned for his exceptional punching power.
He won 20 fights with a first-round knockout.
He is a three-time winner of Premier Boxing Championship's Knockout of the Year (2016-17,2019).
When he won the WBC title (January 17, 2015), he dedicated the win to his oldest daughter, who has spina bifida, and to Muhammad Ali, who had turned 73 that day.
