Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (2020)

Why he might be annoying:

His nickname was 'The Reverend.'
He spent the majority of his career playing for an underachieving and apathetic Rams team.
He made statements in the years following the Rams loss in Super Bowl XXXVI, that he felt the team got cheated out of a victory by the Patriots.
Despite being considered a Rams legend, he was unceremoniously released when he refused to take a pay cut.
He finished his career with the Rams biggest rivals, the 49ers.

He earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Rams (1999).
He was the first Ram since Henry Ellard to make the Pro Bowl roster in consecutive seasons.

He was the last active member of the Rams who was a member of the team during its first tenure in Los Angeles.
