Defensive lineman for the Cleveland Browns (1960) and Minnesota Vikings (1961-1979)
Notorious for recovering a fumble, and running to the wrong end zone

Why he might be annoying:

He is best remembered for picking up a fumble against San Francisco, and then running 66 yards the wrong way, and giving his team a safety.
He thought he scored a touchdown, and celebrated, not realizing he ran the wrong way.
This incident earned him the nickname Jim ‘Wrong Way' Marshall.
He holds the NFL record for longest safety (66 yards).
He left college after his junior year.
Although an all-time great, he was constantly left out of Hall of Fame.

Why he might not be annoying:

He holds the NFL record for fumble recoveries.
He was a part of the Vikings' dominant defense nicknamed the ‘Purple People Eaters.'
Until 2005, he held the NFL record for most consecutive games played.
Minnesota retired his number.
He survived cancer.
His ‘wrong way' incident wasn't costly, as the Vikings wound up winning that game 27-22.
