He was primarily used as a backup catcher.
His Padre teams went 359-451 following the 1998 World Series.
His 2005 Padre team won the NL West division with an 82-80 record, the worst among a division leader in baseball history.
He has the dubious distinction of having the largest head size in MLB history.
