Why Survivor 36: Ghost Island might be annoying
They brought back artifacts from Survivor’s past, all of which represent bad decisions made by past players.
Most of these artifacts were found on Ghost Island, which is just a recycled version of Exile Island.
It was the fifth season overall, and fourth in a row, to take place in Fiji.
They had to put up with Chris’ rapping.
The first person voted out, Gonzalez, did not get her parting words aired (technically, neither did Jenna, but at least we got to see her on the jury).
Whenever players were supposed to decide who went to Ghost Island, much of the time, they drew rocks for it.
Like in the previous season, the last spot in the Final Three was decided in a fire-making competition.
Final Tribal Council resulted in the first-ever tie.
The castaways only got half as much rice as players in past seasons did.
Where was Stephanie during the reunion?
Why Survivor 36: Ghost Island might not be annoying
Some of the players who got exiled had a chance to risk their votes in the game for a chance to gain advantages.
On Day 29, the merged tribe was divided into two temporary tribes, and each one voted someone out that night.
It marked the first time that the Winner was decided in overtime, as Laurel, a Final Three member and third-place finisher, became the add-on juror who had to decide the tiebreaking Final Two vote between Wendell and Dominick.
Jeff read the final votes at Tribal Council but saved Laurel's vote for the reunion show.
The season saw the third black male winner.
