Why Modern Family might be annoying
It is basically another ripoff of Arrested Development!
The last time ABC aired a comedy with a similar plot, the show was canceled after one season.
The main character is divorced.
It is hard to keep track of this blended family.
For such a decent comedy, the title seems quite lame and generic.
Despite being set in Los Angeles, some of the characters are fans of teams in Illinois.
Why Modern Family might not be annoying
Like 'Arrested Developement' and 'The Office,' it utilizes a mockumentary style format.
For all you 'Married... with Children' fans out there, it revived Ed O'Neill's career.
It is one of a few series on broadcast network television to feature a homosexual couple as main characters.
It has received acclaim from many critics and media awards.
It received a Peabody Award in its first season.
It is a strong contender against FOX's ratings juggernaut 'American Idol.'
Ed Norton and Elizabeth Banks made guest apperances on the show.
