Why he might be annoying:

He was part of a group charged with breaking into a house and beating six men, believed to be gay.
His song ‘Boom Bye Bye' raps about killing homosexuals and shooting them in the head or pouring acid on their faces.
Despite his lyrics advocating violence against gays, he recorded other songs condemning politicized violence and anti-gun songs.
He was arrested for growing marijuana plants in his studio.
A Florida jury found him guilty on cocaine charges (February 22, 2011).

Why he might not be annoying:

Despite his violent lyrics he has stated, ‘I'm not a gay-basher. I'm not a homophobe.’
He denounced violence after he became a member of the Rastafari movement.
