Second contestant voted out of Survivor: the Australian Outback

Why he might be annoying:

His tribe considered him to be condescending.
He claimed to have been approached by numerous beef jerky companies after Jerri accused him of smuggling some into camp (a claim she reiterated in All-Stars).
He was based in Fort Hood, Texas prior to his Survivor stint but left the U.S. Army shortly thereafter because ‘there were no eligible females there.’
He was not contacted to add any commentary to the DVD which chronicled the Outback season.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is of South American Indian (Quechuan) heritage. In particular, he appreciates the history behind it, including its art and cuisine.
Further to this point, his mother, who is from Peru, taught him gourmet cooking in the family home.
His family lived in the province of New Brunswick until he completed high school.
He returned to the Army a full three weeks after he married. He was stationed in Hawaii, where he was to become a company commander.
His tribe regretted voting him out when the very next immunity challenge required them to complete an obstacle course while tethered together and they were beaten easily.
He does not keep regular contact with other Survivor players, preferring to stay low-profile.
He does not smoke or do drugs.
