Why he might not be annoying
He is a second generation NHL player.
His draft selection at 4th overall, placed him ahead of both his brother (6th in 2016) and his father (19th in 1990) for family bragging rights.
He was considered one of the lone bright spots on a Senators team that was stripped to the bare bones during his rookie season.
He broke Alexandre Daigle's franchise record for most goals scored in a season by a Senators rookie.
He scored his first NHL goal in his second career game, which surpassed the time both his father and brother scored theirs.
