    At the 1976 Olympics, he called Greg Louganis a 'dumbkopf' after he botched his second-last dive.

    He was discriminated against early in his young life because he was Asian.

    He coached Olympic champion divers Greg Louganis, Pat McCormick and Robert Webster.
    He has a star on the Anaheim/OC Walk of Stars next to Disneyland.
    He's the first diver ever to do a front 3 1/2 off the platform.
    He was the first Asian-American male to win an Olympic gold medal.
