    While attending the University of Georgia (2003-07), he earned All-American honors each of his four years, and led the Bulldogs to the 2007 NCAA tennis championship before turning pro.
    In the summer of 2007, he needed just six weeks after turning pro to go from a #839 ranking to a #193 ranking.
    Besides tennis, he enjoys playing golf, poker and basketball, and considers his sports hero to be Karl Malone.
    In just three pro years, he earned more than $1.5 million.
    On top of winning the longest singles match ever played anywhere professionally in the history of tennis, other records he broke include most aces in an ATP/Grand Slam singles match (112), most aces in a single set (84), most games won in a single match (92), and most winners in a single match (246).
