Why he might be annoying:

He owned several massage parlors in Los Angeles.
He supposedly had ties to an organized crime family.
LaToya claimed he beat her at various times, using his fists, chairs and tables.
She also accused him of forcing her to pose in Playboy.
The Jackson Family denounced him as having brainwashed LaToya.

Why he might not be annoying:

In 1978, Harry Reid, who worked with Nevada's Gaming Commission at the time, tried to strangle him during an FBI bribery probe.
Bureau agents pulled Reid's hands from around Jack's throat.
His other clients included Gloria Gaynor, Sharon Stone and John Wayne Bobbitt.
LaToya sent security experts to his funeral to make sure he was actually dead.
