Internet Personality

The Resume

    (February 4, 1979 BC- )
    Born in North Carolina
Independent filmmaker known for his far out conspiracy theories and desire to re-order world society
Videos explicating his theories include; 'Zeitgeist - The Movie,' 'Zeitgeist - Addendum' and 'Zeitgeist - Moving Forward' and are available free on Youtube
    Atheist
Wants to completely reorder society world-wide and started the Zeitgeist Movement and established the Venus Project to this end

Why he might be annoying:

He speaks at length and in considerable detail about subjects as varied as psychology, economics, and spirituality with no qualifications whatsoever.
If his theories were instituted the result would be an incredibly oppressive dictatorship of the elite along the lines of 'Brave New World,' '1984' or the communist dictatorships of the 20th Century, and in some of his writings/videos he almost directly quotes Marx about the need to re-educate the people.
Inexplicably, he lumps all economic systems other than his own (communism, socialism, capitalism etc.) together.
Although the disciplines of psychology and sociology are divided on the effects of nature versus nurture, he (with no known qualifications) claims that 99% percent of a person's psychological makeup is due to their upbringing and that this can be changed by the adoption of his society.
He said, 'Laziness is, in fact, a form of the rejection of the system.'
Some of his conspiracy theories, including his ones regarding 9/11 and international banking, are really, really out there.
He is kind of weird looking.

Why he might not be annoying:

His heart is in the right place: Who doesn't want to make the world a better place?
He thinks society should use the scientific method and reason to make its big decisions.
He makes his films free to the public, especially through Youtube.
Though very bare bones in production values, his videos are actually quite interesting to watch.
The stated purpose of the Venus Project is to 'maximize the quality of life rather than profits.'
He is polite and well-spoken and freely gives very good interviews.
