    Head coach for the Birmingham Bullets (1995-97), B.C. Oostende (1998), Manchester Giants (1998-2000), London Towers (2000-01), Brighton Bears (2001-06), Iowa Energy (2007-11) Rio Grande Valley Vipers (2011-13) and the Toronto Raptors

    He never played a game in the professional ranks.
    He was a coaching nomad in the British Basketball League.
    Some basketball pundits felt he got the Raptors coaching job hastily as the team feared losing him to a rival club.

    He was a successful coaching in the British Basketball League, winning two league championships.
    He translated his success in the NBA G League, earning two championships in a three year span.
    He guided the Raptors to the second best record in the Eastern Conference in his first season as head coach, doing it with a roster that was in a constant state of turnover.
    He accepted his first head coaching job at the age of 23.
