The Resume

    (1965- )
Formed in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA
    1967 line-up:
    Jim Lowe - lead vocals
    James 'Weasel' Spagnola - guitar
    Ken Williams - guitar
    Mark Tulin - bass
    Quint - drums
Recorded 'I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night' and 'Get Me to the World on Time'

Why they might be annoying:

They were known as The Sanctions, then Jim and the Lords until taking the name The Electric Prunes (an improvement?).
They are a two hit wonder.
The went through so many line-up changes that by the time they quit in 1970, NO original members were left.
Three of the original members reformed the group in 2001 to record and milk the oldies circuit.

Why they might not be annoying:

'I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night' was a #11 hit in 1967 and sold over a million copies.
They had two songs on the 'Easy Rider' soundtrack.
In the late '60s Kenny Loggins became an Electric Prune.
During their hiatus they developed a large following in Seattle.
