The Resume

    (1944- )
    Raised in Newark, NJ
Scriptwriter who flew to London to pitch a script about a street violinist she thought would be perfect for Paul McCartney (April 3, 1968)
Became McCartney's girlfriend and was given a job at Apple Records
Sat in on several sessions as the Beatles created and recorded their 1968 'White Album'
Wrote the book 'Body Count' about her experience (1972)

Why she might be annoying:

Her biggest claim to fame is that she slept with a Beatle.
She admits she was stoned on hash most of the time during her tenure with the Beatles.
She was one of the few people besides John that got along with Yoko Ono.
Though she claims otherwise, Paul's fiancé Jane Asher walked in on the pair in bed and quickly called off the engagement.
Late summer in 1968, she abruptly left Paul and flew back home to New Jersey.
Her street violinist script never came close to becoming a movie.

Why she might not be annoying:

She had a unique insider's view of the Beatles during their 'White Album' sessions, where each was emerging as an individual artist.
During one particularly frustrating session, Paul screamed 'Juden Raus!' (German for 'Jews leave!'), obviously directed at her.
She spent several nights at Paul's flat watching TV with John and Yoko (who were houseguests for several weeks), just talking about life in general.
She says George Harrison made her laugh several times when she was down, and taught her Transcendental Meditation.
She was given the task of choosing locations in London for a series of photos featuring the Beatles, known as 'A Mad Day Out' (July 28, 1968).
She arrived in London the day before Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinted, and came back to her native Newark to find several areas destroyed due to the ensuing race riots.
John and Yoko called her personally to tell her how much they enjoyed her 'tell-all' book (she reunited with Yoko in 1999).
She recalls Paul warmly, attracted to his mind and creativity, and fondly recalls her 'summer with the Beatles.'
