Why he might be annoying:

For most of his career, he played Hulk Hogan's brother in different tag teams.
He would follow Hogan and join every corporation he was in.
He had many failed gimmicks in WCW, such as the Booty Man, the Butcher, the Disciple and Zodiac (in which his face was painted).
After many failed identities, he was used as someone who makes other people's moves look painful.
He is divorced (1990).

Why he might not be annoying:

He is still close friends with Hogan after over twenty years.
During a walk on the beach, parasailer accidentally ran into him, kneeing him in the face. The injury was so severe that it basically caved his face in and over 100 steel plates were put in his head to help restore his facial structure.
He announced plans to open a wrestling school in Tewksbury, Massachusetts (2002).
