    It has extremely cold winters and hot dry summers.
    Its economy relies heavily on the mining industry.
    Its air quality was heavily polluted during the city's mining boom years.

    It is located at the eastern edge of Saskatchewan's famed Hanson Lake Road highway.
    It has the reputation of hosting the largest amount of free events in the country.
