    Added other performers to their lip-sync repertoire
    Recorded the single 'O Yi O Yi A' (2007)
    Received mainstream media attention in the US through 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Why they might be annoying:

    They ranked #4 on Cracked.com's 'Most Obnoxious Memes to Escape the Web.'
    Even their roommate, Xiao Jing, became famous, despite spending most of their videos with his back to the camera, playing Counter-Strike.
    Their first videos were low quality and grainy.
    They were signed as spokespeople for Motorola cell phones and became hosts for Motorola's on-line lip-syncing contests.
    They also signed contracts with Pepsi, the Chinese internet portal Sina.com and the talent agency Taihe Rye.
    They won an award for 'best podcast' that happened to be presented by their employers, Sina.com.

Why they might not be annoying:

    They originally posted the videos to the college intranet to entertain their friends.
    Jessica Simpson posted a link to their video for 'A Public Affair' on her website.
    Heroes referenced them in a scene of two young Asian men wearing Houston Rockets jerseys singing 'I Want It That Way' in a karaoke bar.
    Asked to explain their success, they said, 'The secret is enjoy yourself and do what you like.'
