Why Garden of Eden might be annoying:

The Bible describes it very minimally.
Some believe it was located in Florida.
It makes people feel they are living in a pile of crap by comparison.
It’s seen as a precursor to many modern utopian socialist movements.
It grew delicious fruit, but it was against the rules to eat it (bummer).
After Adam and Eve’s expulsion, God closed it off to all humans.
Ironically, its former site is the setting for the bloody conflict in Iraq.

Why Garden of Eden might not be annoying:

It has become synonymous with ‘paradise.’
It was an enjoyable place to live (as long as you didn’t eat the fruit!).
It was very carefree (as long as you didn’t eat the fruit!).
It was the setting for John Milton’s famed poem ‘Paradise Lost.’
It inspired the title of Ernest Hemingway’s novel ‘The Garden of Eden.’
