The Resume

    (1957- )
    Born in United States
American author born in France and raised in Colorado
Writes extensively on subjects dealing with alternative versions of history, alternative energy sources, time travel, UFOs, and Nikola Tesla
Books include; the 'Lost Cities and Ancient Mysteries of ...' series, 'Technology of the Gods: The Incredible Science of the Ancients,' 'Invisible Residents: The Reality of Underwater UFOs,' 'The Time Travel Handbook,' 'Anti-Gravity and the Unified Field'

Why he might be annoying:

He writes extensively on archeology and the physical sciences without any qualifications whatsoever.
If he is to be believed, world history and physics need to be completely rewritten.
He's part of a cottage industry that believes that inventor Nikola Tesla created time travel and free energy machines that have been suppressed by world governments.
He's written histories of Atlantis, Lemuria, and Mu.
He claims that the Earth is hollow and is inhabited, possibly by aliens.
His popular 'Lost Cities and Ancient Mysteries of ...' series is about fictional mythological places like an Egyptian-Tibetan civilization that once existed in the Grand Canyon, proposes (among other things) that human civilization started in Atlantis, and the Egyptians settled Australia.

Why he might not be annoying:

He comes across as remarkably friendly, likable, and unpretentious.
He's hosted shows on and been interviewed on NBC and FOX about his theories.
His book sales are in the millions and are good, easy reads.
Remember that weird little attempted time travel scene in the movie 'Napoleon Dynamite'? That's a reference to his work.
He's harmless and gives some very strange people something to occupy their minds.
