The Resume

    (1965-1969)
    Born in Los Angeles, California
Members were: Sean Bonniwell (vocalist and songwriter), Ron Edgar (drummer), Mark Landon (guitarist), Keith Olsen (bassist), and Doug Rhodes (keyboardist)
Recorded 'Talk Talk,' 'The People in Me,' 'Come on In,' 'The Eagle Never Hunts the Fly,' 'Hey Joe,' and 'Advise and Consent'

Why they might be annoying:

    They were a one-hit wonder.
Their one hit, 'Talk Talk,' was under two minutes long.
Their manager feuded with a record executive, and one of their singles flopped as a result.
They had a high turnover of band members.
Eventually, all the original members left except Bonniwell, who renamed the group The Bonniwell Music Machine.

Why they might not be annoying:

They are regarded as one of the most important garage rock/proto-punk bands of the 1960s.
Their use of a fuzzbox for the bass guitar prefigured psychedelia.
They wore black, dyed their hair black, and each wore a single black glove.
    Olsen later produced Fleetwood Mac.
The Billboard Book of One-Hit Wonders said they were one of 'the most loved but least played garage bands of the 1960s.'
Bonniwell died of lung cancer in 2011.
