Why he might be annoying:

He smokes.
At the 1997 Masters, he referred to Tiger Woods as 'a little boy' and told him not to serve fried chicken or collard greens for his Champions Dinner.
As a result of the comments, he lost tons of respect and his endorsement deal with K-Mart.
He does infomercials.
His first name is basically an extension of his initials (Frank Urban Zoeller)
He used a duck head cover so he could match his orange bag, and sells them on his website.
He wears really stupid-looking sunglasses while playing.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is well renown for his sense of humor.
He is laid back.
Most fans still respected him after his comments on Tiger Woods.
He went to a junior college.
He won the 1979 Masters on his first attempt.
He has never worn a hat or visor while playing golf.
He has his own line of barbecue sauce.
In a commercial for Carbite putters, he said, 'to make putts like these, you gotta have brass balls.'
