He's a bully who likes to pick fights with smaller players.

He taunts crowds with obscene gestures.
He once spat on Roberto Carlos' face after shaking his hand.
He's arrogant and proudly proclaims himself the best goalkeeper in the world.
Practically the only place where he isn't booed is in his home country, Paraguay.
He received a suspension in 1994 because he punched a ball boy for not retrieving the ball fast enough.
He punched out a reporter for commenting on his recent weight gain.
He tries to justify his disgraceful behavior.
His nickname is 'Chila.'
He wants to become President of Paraguay when he retires.

He's the highest scoring goalkeeper in soccer history.
He tends to say what he feels.
He rarely does any bullying when playing in Europe, where they tend to have stricter regulations and a rowdier, more vengeful crowd, so he knows who to pick on and where.
Opposing fans have been known to hurl rocks, knives and even fireworks at him.
