Why she might be annoying:

She had two opportunities to win gold for her team and she blew them both.
The first attempt came when her team was up by two, and all she needed to do was clear both stones for the win. She didn't, which enabled the game to go into an extra end (round).
The second time, she had another opportunity to win in the extra end, with the last stone of the game, she was unable to have her stone end up closer to the center, and Canada lost the game.
She has a tattoo of the Olympic rings on her right arm.
In spite of denying rumors that she posed nude for a women of curling calendar, there are still spammers who believe otherwise.

Why she might not be annoying:

She led a team with no significant international experience all the way to the gold medal game at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
She improved her game after realizing that curling shouldn't be the only priority in her life.
She has a day job as an insurance broker.
Her appearance has been compared with Courtney Cox.
She became an unlikely sex symbol during the 2010 Winter Olympics, with Bill Simmons nicknaming her the 'curlgar.'
