Why she might be annoying:

She refused an offer from the Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago, opting to pursue her dance career in Los Angeles instead.
Her father is a truck driver and her mother is his roadie.
She worked as a telemarketer.
She said of the Dolls, ‘Not many acts let you be sexy and still be about girl power.'
She considers herself ‘a lot shyer than most of the girls, but my personality on stage is full-out. I really go for it.'
Her parents admitted fearing what would become of her after her move to L.A.

Why she might not be annoying:

While choreographing a Nick Lachey video, she met Robin Antin — and got asked to join the Dolls that evening (big vote of confidence!).
She earned scholarships to the Joffrey Ballet and Broadway Dance Center - before she was 14!
Almost immediately after her graduation, she auditioned for cruise ship and casino shows in Vegas.
During her tenure in a Royal Caribbean revue, she visited most of Southern Europe.
She credits her small town Middle American background for her perspective on life (‘they love my stories about towns where the fancy clothing store is Wal-Mart').
