Why he might be annoying:

    He is a middle child.
    Although he is of Jewish descent, he considers himself as agnostic.
    He worked as an intern for Howard Dean's unsuccessful 2004 US presidential bid.
    Like fellow MSNBC colleagues such as Chris Cillizza, Dana Milbank, and Steve Kornacki, and other progressive columnists such as New York Times' Peter Baker and Nate Silver, he can be a deadpan snarker to conservatives.
    In 2009, he came under fire for an article he wrote for the 'Washington Post' reporting that Connecticut senator Joseph Lieberman wanted revenge against some of his liberal constituents after his 2006 loss in the state's Democratic senatorial primary election by refusing to pass vital health care reform.
    He does not allow, right-leaning writers to make posts on his forum called 'JournaList.'
    He is essentially the Iliza Shlesinger of politics.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His father taught mathematics, and his mother is an artist.
    When his blogging caught the attention of 'Washington Post' business columnist Steve Pearlstein, Klein was praised for his knowledge on different subjects.
    In light of the Lieberman, he issued an apology for his choice of phrasing,
    'GQ' magazine named him one of the 50 most powerful people in Washington in 2011.
    In 2010, he was named Blogger of the Year by 'The Week' magazine and the Sidney Hillman Foundation.
    His blog was also named one of the 25 best financial blogs by 'TIME' magazine in 2011.
