*Not the Senators team that became the Minnesota Twins or the Senators team that became the Texas Rangers, but a team that was folded in the 19th century
NL Home Run Champion (1899) and AL Home Run Champion (1903)

Why he might be annoying:

He lost in his Major League debut to the AA's Philadelphia Athletics 4-5 as a pitcher.
Nap Lajoie beat him for the AL's first home run champion title in the 1901 season.
He butted heads with Beaneaters manager Frank Selee over his hitting style.
His offensive productivity went into decline in the later stages of his playing career.

He batted and threw left handed.
It only took two at-bats for him to hit his first career home run.
He recorded a notable career high record of 25 home runs in his last season with the Senators.
He was the first player to be home run champion in both the NL and the AL.
He was considered one of the best sluggers in the Majors before Babe Ruth came along.
He helped the Boston Americans reach the inaugural World Series in the same season he was both the home run and RBI champion of the AL (1903).
