He said he had sex with ‘three different women a day for seven or eight years.'
He was convicted of drunk driving following an automobile accident that injured three people (1997).
He was arrested for possession of cocaine and weapons and spent 14 months in prison (2000-01).
He admitted to taking steroids before, during and after his boxing career.
He claimed that he is not actually HIV+ and that the test was tampered with (2006).

His father beat him and forced him to be the ‘enforcer' for a local crime ring.
He knocked out Joe Hipp despite having a broken jaw and two broken hands (June 27, 1992).
He founded the Knock Out AIDS Foundation and donated the proceeds of his last fight to it.
