The series was originally intended to be a star vehicle for Laura San Giacomo.
Dennis Finch is a kiss ass suck up.
Maya's roommate Wally Dick was dropped from the cast after one season.
The series never had a stable time slot during its run.
Drastic changes in season seven such as the departure of showrunners Moses Port and David Guarascio ultimately led to the show cancellation.
The character of Vicky Costa only lasted a few episodes.
The final three episodes of the show were aired in August.
Why Just Shoot Me! might not be annoying
It revived George Segal's career.
Gallo supposedly had a rivalry with real-life real estate mogul Donald Trump.
It benefited in the ratings due to being placed between 'Will and Grace' and 'E.R.'
The show was created by the same genius behind 'Larry Sanders Show' and 'Modern Family.'
There were many memorable guest stars who appeared on the show.
