Why he might be annoying
He was suspended a full season when after it was revealed he was abusing cocaine (1990).
He became a journeyman player after he was traded from Edmonton.
He played on three different teams during the 1995 calendar year.
He became injury prone near the tail-end of his career.

He and Andy Moog formed a reliable goaltending tandem during the Oilers dynasty years.
During his first year in St. Louis, he set an NHL record by starting 76 consecutive games.
He is the fourth player in Oilers history to have his jersey retired.
He was the first black player inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame (2007).
When his cocaine abuse became public, many opposing team's fans began mocking him by bringing Ziploc bags full of sugar to games he was starting.
