He made a cameo as himself on the daytime soap 'The Guiding Light.'
He upset some listeners by using a 'manned up/womaned down' analogy.
After losing a bet with Mike Golic, he milked a cow live on the air.
The 'Duel' premiere week did well in the ratings in part because the writer's strike limited new programming (2007).

He supports several cancer research organizations.
He urged baseball players to come clean and be honest about their use of performance enhancers.
He has great on-air chemistry with Mike Golic.
