TV Reality Show Contestant

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

Out of high school, he decided to travel instead of go to college.
He appeared in photo shoots with Behati Prinsloo.
He compared having his hair cut – which Lacey incorrectly assumed would be his makeover – to killing a unicorn.
At the audition panel, Tyra said he looked like he didn’t pay his bills (she ended the scene with, ‘Go pay some bills!’).
He compared the extensions he did receive in the makeover episode to his sister’s own hair.
In the Simply Be ad campaign shoot sponsored by Whitney Thompson, he suggested ‘Comfortable’ as a tagline (to which Kelly replied, ‘Comfortable doesn’t sell… You know what sells? Sex!’).
During the Signing & Dining event at the Top Model digs, he asked how to sign, ‘Are you single?’ (Hilarity ensued.)
Kelly called his decision to pick Ashley as his go-see partner a ‘conjugal go-see.’
On the ride out of the Fierce-O-Gram photo shoot, where they were given their traditional elimination notice, he suggested Mame and Hadassah get drunk as ‘the only way to really initiate a threesome.’
When he showed Chrissy Teigen around the Tyra Suite’s ‘selfie booth’ during the late-night cookout for the Final Four – which earned him comparisons to Kid Rock – Lacey put it succinctly: ‘Mikey, Mikey, Mikey, he’s all about them ladies.’
At the panel for the photo shoot involving their mothers, he was spared elimination after his challenge score was deadlocked with Lacey’s.
In the lobby following his final presentation, his mother candidly asked, ‘Why can’t they have the four of you win?’
Because he and Nyle were called forward first, he has the dubious distinction of placing behind Lacey prior to the final runway.

Why he might not be annoying:

He worked as a dishwasher before his teens.
He was a close friend of Renee Bhagwandeen — who took a few snapshots of him for show producers.
He worked as the assistant manager for a bowling center when he was invited to appear on the show.
He was savvy enough to realize, though not right away, that the‘fans’ jumping on the runway at the opening walk were challenge decoys (the fake picket signs were another clue).
He was one of the first members of his family to be a high-school graduate and the first male with no clear prison record (including his brother).
At the hashtag shoot, his poses were likened to a prison mugshot (understandable, given his appearance and family history).
If Yu Tsai had reservations about his decision to use a cylinder and plank as a teeter-totter at the unretouched photo shoot, they disappeared quickly.
Though he saw his bicep tattoos as an issue in the retouching challenge, he isn’t overly bothered by having his photos be raw and natural.
Having consented to changing Simply Be Comfortable to Simply Be Seductive, the magic unfolded… in a big way.
In the wake of the shouting match between Mame and Hadassah, he floated the idea of a house meeting — which Justin seized upon.
He readily admitted to looking forward to a good laugh in the wake of the fake deodorant ad shoot (he was paired with Mame).
One of his parts in the ‘Bootyful’ clip shoot drew comparisons to a 1990s clip.
At the Zappos Couture challenge: ‘Sometimes doing things in front of a littler crowd is harder than a bigger crowd.’
On his final presentation in the final episode, Tyra taglined, ‘I’m gonna start where I come from.’
