Why Curse of Tecumseh might be annoying:

There is no such thing as a curse!
It was allegedly placed on William Henry Harrison in 1811 after he slaughtered Chief Tecumseh in a battle at Tippecanoe Creek.
Another version places the administering of the curse with a medicine man in 1840, who stated 'Harrison shall die if the white man elects him their chief, as shall every white chief every 20 years after.'
Allegedly, Franklin Roosevelt did not seek the Democratic nomination for President in 1920, fearing the curse.
In 2004, Jesse Jackson stated that George W. Bush's avoiding of the curse is 'an example of his illegitimacy as President.'
Jerry Falwell tried to explain Reagan's and Bush's survival of the curse 'an example of how God is smiling on the Republican party.'

Why Curse of Tecumseh might not be annoying:

It gives bored people something interesting to think about.
As an explanation for why Ronald Reagan survived the curse, despite being elected in 1980, astrologist Mark Dodich explained that, the alignments of Jupiter and Saturn are what feed the curse, as they align themselves under earth signs every 20 years, but in 1980 they aligned under an air sign, leading to Reagan's survival.
Ripley's Believe it or Not published a list of all the Presidents elected in 00 years who died. They put a question mark next to 1960 (1948).
