The Resume

    (July 4, 1907-October 12, 1958)
    Born in Chicago, Illinois
Appeared in 'Tillie's Punctured Romance' (1914), 'Tarzan of the Apes' (1918), 'The Romance of Tarzan' (1918), 'The Son of Tarzan' (1920), 'Huckleberry Finn' (1920), 'The Adventures of Tarzan' (1921), 'Penrod' (1922), 'Little Annie Rooney' (1925), 'Gun Play' (1935) and 'Blazing Justice' (1936)
Became an assistant director and film producer
Named production manager at Columbia Pictures (1941)

Why he might be annoying:

Since he played Tarzan as a boy in the first third of 'Tarzan of the Apes,' he technically beat Elmo Lincoln as the first big-screen Tarzan, but rarely gets credited for it.
As Tarzan, he was butt naked for most of his scenes.
His credits in the 30s were mostly bit parts and often uncredited, although it is unclear whether he was a silent film star who had trouble making the transition to sound, or a child star who had trouble making the transistion to adult parts.

Why he might not be annoying:

He did his own stunts as Tarzan.
In addition to being the movies' first Tarzan, he was film's first Tom Sawyer.
He had a successful career behind the cameras as an adult.
