Why he might be annoying:

At 18, he left home after a fight with his father, became involved in petty crime, then moved on to armed robbery.
Witnesses said that he and the other gunmen smiled and looked happy while shooting their victims.
He killed a policeman being held hostage when his mobile phone rang.
After being captured, he said, 'I have done right, I have no regrets.
He told interrogators, 'If you give me regular meals and money I will do the same for you that I did for them.'
Despite mounting evidence, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari attempted to deny that Kasab came from Pakistan.

Why he might not be annoying:

Lashkar-e-Taiba promised to pay his family Rs 150,000 (approximately $2,500) for his participation in the attacks.
He was shot in both hands, then beaten by a mob before being taken into custody.
He provided a lot of information to Indian police investigating the attacks.
He began reading the autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi in prison. (Better late than never, right?)
