    Appeared in the films ‘Young Ideas’ (1924), ‘The Beautiful Cheat’ (1925), ‘Smoldering Fires’ (1925), ‘Skinner’s Dress Suit’ (1926), ‘The Cat and the Canary’ (1927), ‘Finders Keepers’ (1928), ‘The Love Trap’ (1929), ‘Show Boat’ (1929), ‘The King of Jazz’ (1930), ‘God’s Gift to Women’ (1931), ‘Arizona’ (1931), ‘Man of the Moment’ (1935), and ‘Spring Reunion’ (1957)
    Many of the silent films she starred in have been lost.
    Her singing in ‘Show Boat’ was dubbed by Eva Olivetti.
    When a film crew arrived at their home to tape an interview her husband, producer Irving Asher, for a documentary, she hid in the kitchen to avoid them (1977).
    She had to do her own stunts in the serial ‘The Perils of the Yukon.’ (1922)
    She was a contestant on You Bet Your Life, and donated her winnings to the Motion Picture Relief Fund (1954).
    She was married to Irving Asher for fifty years.
    She said about her decision to retire after marrying Asher, ‘Had I continued making picture after picture, I'd never have had the time to really live and enjoy my family. My career was wonderful, but then, so were the years that followed.’
