Why she might be annoying:

She started off as Blossom MacDonald on stage, was given the name Marie Blake in Hollywood, then started using her married name Blossom Rock after her studio contract ended.
She shares the name Blossom Rock with several actual rocks, including a former navigational hazard in San Francisco Bay and a sandstone outcropping in the Mark Twain National Forest.
In films, she was usually cast as a secretary, telephone operator or nurse.

She was reportedly the family member closest to Jeanette.
She got Jeanette her first Broadway break as a dancer in the chorus.
She suffered a stroke after 'The Addams Family' went off the air and moved into the Motion Picture Home, where her neighbor was Larry Fine of the Three Stooges.
