Why Rock Star: Supernova might be annoying:

Dave Navarro has nothing to do with the band, yet gets to judge on the show, and act like he's a music expert.
To take elements from other reality shows, they made all of the contestants live together.
A lot of the contestants tend to perform the same songs as each other.
Gilby Clarke is far less famous then the rest of the band.
The punk band Supernova sued CBS and Mark Burnett for copyright infringement.
It turned out that another band owned the name Supernova, so the group had to change it's name.

Why Rock Star: Supernova might not be annoying:

Unlike the first season, the singer will get a chance in a new band, instead of being �that guy who isn't Michael Hutchence.'
The contestant's performances were all covers of popular rock songs of all eras.
The judges don't insult the contestants, but rather give constructive criticism.
It received much better ratings that �Rock Star: INXS.'
One main reason for this was that a brand new supergroup was much more appealing than a horrid INXS reunion with a new singer.
