Not only that, it remained in the Top 10 for over a year!
How many times is someone going to want to listen to a 17 minute long song (with a 6 minute long drum solo)?
Supposedly, the band was stoned during the recording, and vocalist Doug Ingle was unable to properly pronounce 'In The Garden of Eden.'
They went through constant lineup changes.
They were drug-using hippies.
Nothing else they released even came close to the success of 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida.'
They regrouped in the mid-70's to little interest.
Their one hit is extremely popular with stoners.
