Why The Hogan Family might be annoying:

It was known by three different names.
Valerie Harper got fired from the show.
    Valerie sued Lorimar and won.
Because of Valerie’s termination and subsequent lawsuit, the characters appeared to be apathetic about her character’s death compared to other character deaths.
Some viewers think her character got killed off in the house fire when her character actually got killed in a car crash.
It was the beginning of a new generation of Miller-Boyett sitcoms along with Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters and Step By Step.
After the show got canceled, the same sets were used for ‘Step By Step’.
It did not have a series finale.
Edie McClurg played a character similar to the ones she played in ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,' ‘Back to School’ and ‘Planes Trains and Automobiles.’

Why The Hogan Family might not be annoying:

    It launched Jason Bateman’s career.
Jodie Sweetin guest-starred on the show, then got the role as Stephanie Tanner on Full House.
It was the first primetime show to use the word ‘condom’.
It touched on AIDS issues and warned viewers that you could get HIV through heterosexual sex.
The theme song was performed by Roberta Flack.
