    He once had the all-time NBA record for the longest field goal at 84 ft. for 24 years prior to Baron Davis overtaking it at 89 ft. in the 2001-2002 season.
    He retired from the NBA with 8,770 and 5,217 assists.

    He died on the same day as Johnny 'Red' Kerr.
