Played Tarzan in ‘Tarzan and the Valley of Gold (1966),’ Tarzan and the Great River (1967)’ and ‘Tarzan and the Jungle Boy (1968)’
Made appearances on ‘M*A*S*H,’ ‘Fantasy Island’ and ‘The Gilmore Girls’

Why he might be annoying:

His Tarzan bore a hairy chest.
He was initially offered roles just for his looks.
His big break on television, 'Mona McCluskey,' only lasted thirteen weeks.
He turned down an offer to star in a Tarzan TV series.
He sued his producer for maltreatment after a horrendous shooting schedule for his Tarzan movies.
His penis is accidentally visible for a few frames in ‘Tarzan and the Great River.’

Why he might not be annoying:

He suffered through many sicknesses while making his Tarzan films in the Brazilian jungles.
He was bitten in the face by a chimpanzee, which required stitches.
He was the initial choice to play the title role in the 'Batman' TV series.
He achieved a good deal of success in the 'Smokey and the Bandit' films.
