The Resume

    Former insurance executive
Key figure in the Central Park bird watching incident (May 25, 2020)
Telephoned 911 to falsely accuse black birdwatcher Christian Cooper (no relation) of attempted assault
Video received over 40 million views on social media

Why she might be annoying:

    She's a Karen.
She got into an argument after being told to leash her dog, in a park with an on-leash requirement, and refusing.
She openly admitted to Christian her intention was to racially profile him to police by saying 'I'm going to tell them there's an African American man threatening my life.'
She was filmed roughly dragging her dog by the collar while making her 911 call (which temporarily lost her custody of the dog).
She made a second phone call falsely alleging that Christian had physically assaulted her.
Her actions could have very easily resulted in Christian Cooper being brutalized or killed for next to no good reason.
It didn't help that the confrontation occurred the same day as the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers, leading many to connect the two.
She was charged with filing a false police report, a misdemeanor with a penalty of up to one year in jail (July 6, 2020).

Why she might not be annoying:

    She adopted a rescue dog.
She apologized for her actions after the fact.
She lost her job after the video of the confrontation went viral.
It doesn't excuse her actions, but Christian arguably provoked the altercation by luring the dog towards him with treats during their exchange.
Christian himself admitted to saying to her, after she refused to leash her dog, 'Look, if you're going to do what you want, I'm going to do what I want, but you're not going to like it.'
She is active with Democrat party politics (she donated to the campaigns of Kerry, Obama, and Buttigieg).
The negative blowback from the viral video indirectly provoked a conversation about racism in America.
