He pled guilty to beating his wife several times.
He abused drugs and left many court appointed rehab programs.
His ex-wife and daughter cashed in on his name appearing on the E1 Series 'Gastineau Girls.'
Despite being married he anounced his engagement to Brigitte Nielsen.
Because of his celebrations after sacking the quarterback, the NFL began penalizing taunting as unsportsmanlike.
He had a short lived boxing career, in which some of his opponents admitted to taking a dive.

He was one of the greatest defensive NFL players in history.
He was genuinely happy for Michael Strahan who broke his sack record (January 6, 2002).
