Why he might be annoying:

He was 28 years old when he made his NHL debut.
He is injury prone.
He spent most of the first half of the 2005-06 season on the injury reserve list.
The Kings felt like he couldn't be a starting goaltender during his stay with the team.

Why he might not be annoying:

He proved he could be a starting goaltender when he took over the reins from Jose Theodore which helped the Canadiens secure a playoff berth.
He was the third NHL player and first goaltender to be born in France.
He was a fan favorite in Montreal.
He had a succesful career in Europe before playing in the NHL.
