The Resume

    (March 6, 1963-April 27, 2015)
    Born in Fullerton, California
Portrayed Tracy Partridge on The Partridge Family (1970-74) and Stevie Mulligan on 'Mulligan's Stew' (1977)
Appeared in the TV movies 'Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway' (1976) and 'Children of Divorce' (1980)

Why she might be annoying:

She got the Partridge Family gig because the producers' original choice for Tracy kept crying on the set.
She said of going to public school whenever the show was not filming, 'The part that was hard was trying to be normal.'
After the Partridge Family ended, she had trouble getting work, noting 'Because I wasn't in the show that much, [people thought] I couldn't act.'

Why she might not be annoying:

The Partridge Family was only her second audition.
When 'Teenage Father' won an Oscar for Best Short Film, director Taylor Hackford singled out her performance in his acceptance speech (1978).
She retired from acting to raise a family, saying 'You can't just drop everything to go out on call and keep a stable life.'
