Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He frequently allowed soft goals, which was made evident playing in front of a porous defense in Ottawa.
He posted a 8–46–3 record in his lone season in Ottawa.
He actually made the Wales Conference All-Star team, despite posting a horrendous win-loss record (1993).
He was exiled to the minor leagues in New Jersey after playing only three games, following the emergence of Martin Brodeur as the starter.
He didn't return to the Devils for five years after his inital demotion, until he was briefly called up for a four game stint.

Why he might not be annoying:

He immigrated to Canada from Poland as a toddler.
He voluntarily took up goaltending as a kid as his house league team was in need of one and pursued the position full-time afterwards.
He is the first Polish born player in NHL history to be drafted by one of its teams.
His lack of success with the Senators wasn't entirely his fault as he played on an expansion team that was deliberately set up to fail from the start.
He, along with Brad Marsh served as the first All-Star representatives for the Senators franchise (1993).
