Basketball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was named after his father, but is not considered a junior as his name is James Joseph and not James Edward.
Despite being a mainstay for the Trail Blazers, he was unceremoniously traded to Boston.
He was primarily relegated to the bench in the later years of his playing career.
His tenure as the Cavaliers general manager was primarily remembered for his blunders he made while assembling the roster.
His Cavaliers team posted a record of 185–307 in the six seasons he was in charge.
He made questionable head coaching hires during his six years with the Cavs.
It was widely speculated he was fired by the Cavaliers after he failed to surround LeBron James with quality talent.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the son of former NBA player Jim Paxson, Sr. and the brother of Bulls franchise mainstay John Paxson.
He couldn't afford to buy shoes for his tryout at Dayton, so the team's athletic director loaned him a pair in order for him to participate.
He left the Trail Blazers as the franchise's all-time leading scorer at the time of his trade.
He earned All-Star honors in two consecutive years (1983, 1984).
Although his tenure as the Cavaliers general manager was seen as a bust, he is remembered for being the one who drafted LeBron James with the first overall pick in 2003.
