Why he might be annoying:

Al refers to the first Ministry release as being 'an abortion.'
They're covered with tattoos, especially Al.
    They've experimented with drugs.
Al's poet friend Lorri Jackson died of a heroin overdose in Chicago. After this happened, rumors circulated that Al was the leader of a big heroin using cult-like group.
While recording the song 'Supernaut,' Al decided that he'd like Trent Reznor to do the vocals. When TVT Records (Trent's record label) got word of this, they put a stop to it. What Al ended up doing was having Trent do the vocals and then he distorted them to such an extreme that they were unrecognizable.
While being a Pink Floyd parody, their album title 'Dark Side of the Spoon' is a heroin reference.
Although founding a genre of music, they never achieved much commercial success.
Although having a lot of members, Al is in charge of the writing, production and programming.

Why he might not be annoying:

Any band that mixes rock and roll with electronic beats has been influenced by Ministry.
The band's been around for 20+ years.
Al's produced many songs for many different artists, including Nine Inch Nails and Anthrax.
Al stays busy by participating in many different side-projects.
They've changed styles dramatically since forming, originally sounding like a mixture of the Depeche Mode and Duran Duran.
